1st Bumper
(1982-1992)
[]

Bumper: On a black starry sky background, the camera zooms out between two dark periwinkle planks, which then flip up to reveal a cross. A white dove then flies on the top of the cross, leaving a yellow trail, and the red text "TBN" zooms out at the bottom of the cross, leaving a silver trail as it does so. The logo sparkles three times, then slowly zooms in.

Variant: A 1989 airing of this bumper had the plank animation cut out, starting when the dove appears.

FX/SFX: Rather dated CGI animation.

Music/Sounds: A few whooshes, then a 3-note synth chime theme synced to the sparkles appearing. An announcer says "This is the Trinity Broadcasting Network."

Availability: Extinct.
