Warning: Almost the same as the 1981 Media Home Entertainment/Heron/Hi-Tops warning, except it is in Helvetica Black font and the word "And" is in lowercase.
Variants:
- Early tapes, such as Magee and the Lady, used the original warning instead.
- Starting in 1988, the background is black-blue gradient and the text is all in capitals with a slab-serif font (except "WARNING", "TITLE 17", "UNITED STATES CODE" and "SECTIONS 501 AND 506" in Helvetica Black font).
- On the 1989 VHS releases of After School, Prince of Bel-Air, Grandma's House, and White Hot, the background is solid purplish-blue.
FX/SFX: The scrolling of the text.
