Alchemy Warning Screens

1998–2010

Warning: Almost the same as the 1993 PolyGram Video warning, except the words "F.B.I. WARNING" is off-center, while the text is centered.

Variant: On the 2002 VHS of Epicenter, the text is smaller and shifted upward, the font is Helvetica, everything except "F.B.I. WARNING" are inverted, and with "Title 17" info instead of "$250,000 fine" info.

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Uncommon; seen on First Look Media/Home Entertainment releases. Strangely, no warning of any kind appears on the 2001 VHS of The Wedding Party (uses the next warning instead), although the DVD does include it. It also appears on the 2004 Genius Entertainment DVD of TV Guide Presents: Dick Tracy.

1999–2006 (Alternative A)

Warning: Same as the first screen of the later variant of the 1986 Buena Vista/Walt Disney Home Video/Entertainment warning.

2000–2008 (Alternative B)

Opening To On The Edge 2002 DVD

Warning: Almost the same as the 1982 Columbia TriStar Home Video/Entertainment warning, except it takes place on a marble background, the word "FBI" and the FBI Seal are larger, the FBI seal is colored, and the warning text is rearranged.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Uncommon; seen on some First Look Media/Home Entertainment releases, as well as the 2002 CityHeat Productions DVD of On the Edge. It was also seen on the Velocity Home Entertainment tapes of Last Wedding, Eyes of Fire and Starkweather, the 2002 Dead Alive Productions VHS of Bludgeoned, some ThinkFilm releases, and the Viz Media DVDs of Pokémon Diamond and Pearl Set 1, 2 and 3.

May 31, 2005–2016

Warning: Same as the 2005 Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment FBI Anti-Piracy Warning screen.

FX/SFX: None.

Variants:

• 2005-2007 DVDs and a few tapes used Sony's 2005 warning, such as the 2005 VHS of The Snow Walker.
• On 2007-2008 releases, the 2004 Warner Home Video warning is used.
• On the 2013-2015 DVDs of Home Run and Beyond the Mask, the 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment warning is used instead.
• On Blu-rays, the Blu-ray variant of the 2005 Sony Pictures Home Entertainment warning is used.
