1993–2003[]

Warning A: Almost the same as the 1987 KnoWhutlmean? Home Video warning, except with "WARNING" is white with a red underline and no colon in a white Helvetica font and "FOR HOME USE ONLY." and copyright stamp are missing. Beneath it is the text "Unauthorized duplication is a violation of Federal copyright laws."

Warning B: Almost the same as the 1993 PolyGram Video warning, but "FBI WARNING" and the warning text are in a different font. "Criminal copyright infringement" is also pluralized, therefore "is" is replaced with "are."

Variants: The second screen has undergone a transformation from the 1993 KingWorld Direct warning to the the 1993 PolyGram Video warning, here are the changes:

  • On the 1996 VHS of Sky Action Video: FIRE, only the second screen is shown, and in redesigned form. Here, the text is the "Title 17" version.
  • On the 1997 VHS of Wild America: Fantastic Follies, the above variant is used, except the text is in a different font.
  • On the 1993 VHS and the 1997 reprint of Wild America: The First 10 Years, a prototype variant is used.
  • Starting in 1998, the 1993 PolyGram Video warning is used instead.

FX/SFX: The fades between screens.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Seen on all releases from KingWorld Direct. It also appears on tapes from Haber Video, and tapes of the obscure series The Wacky Adventures of Ronald McDonald.

Editor's Note: This warning screen has a few mistakes. On the first screen, "federal" is needlessly capitalized. On the second screen, "and" is misspelled as "amd," and "video discs" isn't pluralized. Did they even bother to proofread this before sending it off to the video processors?
