1st Bumper
(January 28, 1997-February 3, 1998)
Bumper: On a green background, we see the text "Look For These Great Products From SESAME STREET", in pink letters that squeezes in, then out.
FX/SFX: If you count the squeeze in and out.
Music/Sounds: A piano ditty with drums with a voice-over heard. This theme was actually a portion of the song "Count with Me" from 123 Count With Me.
Availability: Seen on Sesame Street videos from January 28, 1997 to February 3, 1998 such as 123 Count with me and Fiesta!
Scare Factor: Low to medium, because of the piano ditty heard. It's nothing compared to the next bumper.
2nd Bumper
(April 14-September 1, 1998)
Bumper: On a spinning changing-color background, we see the words from before in capitals squeezes in and out.
FX/SFX: The colorful background spinning and the letters.
Music/Sounds: Same as the previous version.
Availability: Seen on 1998 Sesame Street videos such as Elmopalooza, The Alphabet Jungle Game, The Great Numbers Game, The Best of Kermit on Sesame Street, and the 1998 reprint VHS of Elmo Saves Christmas..
Scare Factor: Medium bordering on high (12). It's not nightmare inducing, but it comes very close. The piano music now combined with the psychedelic background are bound to scare more than a few if you excepting the previous bumper and wind up with this. Elevated as it follows the infamous "Pink Scribble" website promo.
3rd Bumper
(January 12, 1999-June 3, 2003)
Bumper: The same one as the 1997 Bumper.
FX/SFX: The same one as the 1997 Bumper
Music/Sounds: The Sesame Street 1969-1992 harmonica theme accompanied by the announcer.
Availability: Seen on most of the Sesame Street videos from January 12, 1999 to June 3, 2003.
Scare Factor: None to minimal, as it follows the "Pink Scribble" website promo or the SesameStreet.com 2002 bumper.
