1st Warning (1983-1998)

Warning: Same as the 1979-1981, 1985, 1988, 1993, 2000 Sony Pictures Home Entertainment FBI Warning, except it's on a coral pink background.

Variant: On DVDs, there is a screen freeze.

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Seen on NTA Home Entertainment and Republic Pictures Home Video releases before Artisan Entertainment took over the video rights in 1998, although, the 1998 DVD of It's a Wonderful Life shows this after the THX logo. It's also seen on post-1983 3G Home Video releases.

Scare Factor: Like most warnings, low to medium. The size of the warning may startle you.

2nd Warning (Alternative A) (1989-1998)

Warning: Same as the enhanced variant of 1985-1999 Worldvision Home Video warning.

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Seen on some NTA Home Entertainment and Republic Pictures Home Video releases before Artisan Entertainment took over the video rights in 1998. It's also seen on post-1989 Worldvision Home Video releases.

Scare Factor: None.

3rd Warning (Alternative B) (1997-1998)

Warning: Same as the 1993-2002 PolyGram Video warning.

FX/SFX: None.

Cheesy Factor: The "G" in "WARNING" looks off center.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Can be seen on DVDs like Bound, Freeway, and Highlander.

Scare Factor: Minimal.
