ID: We begin with a blue wallpaper of PolyGram Video logos from the era. Then the following clip-ons animate:
- The metallic words "COMING SOON" zoom in to us and a red horizontal line draws itself in from two sides. Then the line moves down revealing another metallic word "FROM" and the PolyGram Video text. Three sparkles appear on the metallic words.
- The metallic words "COMING SOON" zoom in to us and the same red horizontal line along the white text "TO THEATRES EVERYWHERE" draw themselves in from two sides. Three sparkles appear on "COMING SOON".
FX/SFX: The zooming in of "COMING SOON", the drawing/wiping of the line and the rest of the text, and the sparkling.
Music/Sounds: A low, drawn-out synth note, a whoosh when the texts and line appear, and three higher synth notes when the sparkles appear.
Availability: Rare, seen on Four Weddings and a Funeral.
Scare Factor: Low. The music may catch you off-guard.
ID: On a blue wallpaper of PolyGram Video logos from the era, the word "COMING SOON FROM" fade in, then underneath "FROM", the PolyGram Video logo animates as normal.
- A more common later variant exists where either "COMING SOON ON VIDEOCASSETTE" or "COMING SOON TO A THEATER NEAR YOU" zooms in similar to how it would happen on the Feature Presentation ID from the era. Like that ID, this variant is silent.
- A rare early variant of the original ID featuring it taking place on a black background and the "COMING SOON FROM" text in a different font/mostly in lowercase letters can be seen on the 1993 VHS of Posse.
FX/SFX: The fading of the text, followed by the PolyGram Video logo. None for the silent variant.
Music/Sounds: None when the words fade in, although when the PolyGram Video logo appears, the same sounds from the said logo accompany it.
Availability: Seen on releases from the era, such as Fargo.
Scare Factor: None to low, as the PolyGram Video logo may startle you. The factor may even be raised for the early variant due to the dark background. For the later variant, it depends how you feel about the zoom-in of the text.
ID: Same as the era's Feature Presentation ID, except the words say "COMING SOON" and either "ON VIDEOCASSETTE", "TO A THEATER NEAR YOU" or "ON VIDEO CASSETTE AND DVD".
FX/SFX: Same as the Feature Presentation ID.
Cheesy Factor: Same as the Feature Presentation ID.
Music/Sounds: Same as the Feature Presentation ID.
Availability: Seen on PolyGram Video and USA Home Entertainment releases from the era.
Scare Factor: Same as the Feature Presentation ID.
