2004-2005

Bumper: On a blue background with a moving light blue hole in the center, we see a rotating silver bar reading the black text "end of disc" in bold lowercase letters. The bar rotates left to right, then it zooms out quickly, and at the same time, spins. After that, the bumper fades to black and quickly cuts to white.

Variants:

  • On VideoNow Color discs from France, such as French Jimmy Neutron VideoNow Color discs, the bar reads "FIN" (which means "end" in French) in a bold robotic font. Also, the bumper quickly fades in earlier to show the bar quickly zooming in and spinning, and then stopping at the middle of the screen before rotating and zooming out.

FX/SFX: All the animation in the bumper.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: More common than the previous bumper. It is seen at the end of all VideoNow Color and VideoNow Jr. discs, and appears immediately after the company's online bumper from the era. It debuted on the 2004 VideoNow Color disc of The Fairly OddParents: Miss Dimmsdale/Mind Over Magic and was last seen on the original 2005 VideoNow Color disc of Drake & Josh: Grammy, which is probably the most rarest of the VideoNow Color collection and can be found only on eBay and WorthPoint.

Scare Factor: None to minimal.

2006-2007

Image

Bumper: On the same background as the 2005-2006 VideoNow startup logo (as seen on VideoNow XP and VideoNow Color FX discs), we see a disc spinning and appearing from the bottom of the screen, and stopping at the middle of the screen. Afterwards, the disc stops spinning only to reveal the words "END OF DISC" in the VideoNow corporate font. After a few seconds, the screen squeezes out and disappears via a TV shutdown transition.

FX/SFX: The disc spinning and the screen transitioning to black.

Music/Sounds: A remix of the first note of the VideoNow XP startup intro.

Availability: Seen at the end of all VideoNow discs from 2006 to 2007 such as Dora the Explorer: Star Catcher, all five SpongeBob SquarePants VideoNow Color FX discs, the 2006 VideoNow Color FX reissue of Drake & Josh: Grammy and Drake & Josh: Football.

Scare Factor: None.
